I just got over a pretty killer cold and I used all kinds of homemade remedies to kick it! I am pretty reluctant to hop on to antibiotics…I feel like it takes my body a long time to sort of, even out after…so when I find something that is healing and aids in an illness I’m usually quick to share! I found this recipe on Elana’s Pantry and it sounded so delish I had to give it a try. I loved the spicy kick! I added some fresh lemongrass and a small squeeze of grated ginger…Note, don’t mince the lemongrass. Keep it large! Then it’s easy to pull out of the soup when your ready to eat it. No one likes to bite in to the woody stalk of lemongrass.
